A holiday spot in Norfolk has been named one of the 12 best UK breaks to celebrate spring.

Sparham Hall Farm, near Lyng at the heart of the Wensum Valley, was included in the list by The Guardian over the weekend.

The farm is a vast spot that is perfect for wildlife lovers and explorers.

The River Wensum flows through the centre of the farm, which is home to an array of wildlife across its woodlands, fields, water meadows, lakes and traditional farmlands.

Plenty of badgers, otters and barn and tawny owls can be spotted out and about.

But The Guardian particularly praised its wheelchair accessibility.

One of its available holiday lets is The Buttery, a converted barn designed with low ovens and sinks and wheelchair space beneath the countertops.

It also has a fully accessible bedroom and wet room.

Norfolk Trails has access-tested a number of routes around the farm so everyone can join in and explore.

The Guardian added that the Pensthorpe Nature Reserve is a short car drive away and also has accessible walking trails.
