CLEAN SWEEP: In a remarkable year for Northgate High School football teams, the boys’ U16 team won every competition they entered this year, remaining undefeated in the process. Their first piece of silverware was the South Norfolk Cup, where they beat Wymondham College 2-1. Their second trophy came by beating Diss High School 1-0 in the South Norfolk League play-off decider. The final jewel in the crown was the U16 County Cup win over Fakenham High School. The boys had looked the better team throughout the 90 minutes and extra time, but needed penalties to secure the win. The boys ran out 5-3 winners on penalties, with their commitment, dedication and winning attitude shining through.
