Dereham & District Flower Club has presented a cheque for £2,660 to the charity Keeping Abreast.
Chosen as the nominated charity by chairman Jacquie Aldous the club raised the funds by holding a flower demonstration at Swanton Morley church, afternoon teas, coffee mornings, regular tombolas and other events.
The charity supports women considering or going through breast reconstruction surgery following either a diagnosis of breast cancer or discovery of the breast cancer gene.
Tracey Allan, volunteer and development officer for the charity, said: 'We are absolutely thrilled with the amount this group have raised, and it's wonderful to see a local group thriving and doing so much for small charity such as ours.'
The Flower Club meets on the fourth Thursday of every month in Dereham and is always open to new members. To find out more contact Jacquie Aldous on 01362 638320.
