Dereham Town surrendered a two-goal lead as visitors Chasetown produced a rousing comeback at Aldiss Park.
The Magpies had looked set for a comfortable victory on Saturday after going 2-0 up within five minutes courtesy of strikes from Oli Yun and captain Dion Frary.
But, after pulling a goal back before the break, Chasetown struck twice in the second half to take all three points back to Staffordshire.
The 3-2 loss sees Dereham drop down to 16th in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division.
Tom Parke's side pressed straight from the off and were in front after just two minutes.
Alfie Mattocks delivered a dangerous cross from the left which fell to Yun on the edge of the box. The youngster, making his home debut, showed no fear as he lashed a 20-yard drive into the roof of the net.
Chasetown had barely had a chance to regroup when skipper Frary got across his man to stab home Henry Clark's low free-kick.
The Scholars had their first opportunity when Jordan Evans rounded Richard Black deep in the home box, but he was denied by a fine low save from Ross Bilham.
At the other end, Ryan Swift failed to convert a Yun cross after Dereham had constructed another excellent move.
Chasetown were back in the game just after the half-hour mark, Jack Langston netting from close range following captain Daniel O'Callaghan's dangerous centre.
Despite the hosts' ascendancy at the halfway point, Chasetown were starting to look the more threatening side.
And, just a few minutes into the second period, the visitors had their equaliser through Joey Butlin, who netted with a downward header at the far post to make it 2-2.
Bilham was keeping Dereham in the game, saving well from Evans' long-range effort before making another outstanding stop to keep out Langston.
There was little surprise, therefore, when Chasetown took the lead for the first time after 72 minutes.
With the ball played through to Benjamin Lund, the forward surged towards goal and lifted expertly over Bilham to complete his side's comeback.
Dereham's player of the match Bilham then produced another excellent close-range save, before Richard Black cleared off the line to prevent Chasetown from increasing their lead.
