Lyng Church of England Primary School has become the 38th school to join the Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust.
The academy, near Dereham, officially became a member of DNEAT on November 1, having previously been run as a local authority school.
Helen Watson, headteacher at Lyng, said: "By joining the Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust we are joining a larger organisation from which our school can both benefit and contribute.
"Within this family of church schools, there will be opportunities for collaboration, mutual support and improvement with similar schools.
"Staff, parents and governors view the move as a good next step for the school."
Oliver Burwood, chief executive of DNEAT, added: "We are delighted that Lyng has joined our growing family of schools.
"Our Christian values of kindness, courage, community and wisdom will shape our work with Lyng and ensure that it finds success within our collaborative trust."
