A group which supports those suffering from chronic and mental health issues has been awarded a crucial grant to help sustain its activity.
Well-come, which meets at Wellspring Family Centre in Dereham, has received a £5,000 grant from Breckland Council's Inspiring Communities fund.
The service supports more than 50 people who are all referred, with meetings taking place three times a week.
Each session offers practical support, refreshments and the chance to socialise in a relaxed environment.
Phil Eggleton, from the Well-come group, said: "This vital support will allow us to expand our support to Breckland residents, fund a new project support role, and ensure our project goes from strength to strength".
Alison Webb, Breckland cabinet member for health and communities, added: "The pandemic has left a lasting effect on our communities, including a rise in mental and chronic health issues.
"This project is making a real difference and I look forward to seeing how the Well-Come project develops."
