Plans for a new gym, which could become part of a 'fitness hub' in Fakenham, have been approved.
Stuart Brown and Jack Cookson, who run a fitness studio offering PT sessions and classes on the Clipbush Business Park, plan to expand to the site next door.
Mr Brown said they were both thrilled the plans had been given approval by North Norfolk District Council.
He said: “To say Jack and I are excited is probably an understatement. We are both eager to get going but we still have to dot the i’s and cross the t’s on a few things first.”
The new unit will be filled with top-of-the-range gym equipment, including free weights and cardio machines.
Mr Brown and Mr Cookson's plans will create two new jobs.
They said they hoped it would be the start of a long-term vision of creating a "fitness hub" that would cater for everyone.
Work on the expansion should start in the middle of March, the added.
The pair applied for planing approval in December, and it was granted by the council earlier this month.
