A heritage railway service is offering free travel all day to mark a town's special day.
Mid-Norfolk Railway said the freebie would be offered to people living in Dereham, Yaxham, Garvestone and Thuxton on Saturday, May 13, when 'Dereham Day' is celebrated.
Anyone wanting to take up the offer needs to show proof of address with an NR19 or NR20 postcode at the ticket office at Dereham Station, or to the ticket inspector on the train.
Dereham Day will involve an array of activities and entertainment at the Memorial Hall, including stalls, workshops and live music.
The day celebrates 'all things Dereham' and is returning for its second year after interest from townspeople and the demand from local organisations to take part was described as "irresistible".
Trains depart Dereham at 10.30am, midday, 1.45pm and 3.30pm, and depart Thuxton at 11.10am, 12.40pm, 2.25pm and 4pm.
Most Dereham Day events are free, although some attractions may charge. The festivities will run from 10am till 4pm.
