Part of a town centre car park is set to be closed until next month.
Breckland Council has confirmed that essential drainage repairs and part resurfacing works at the Cowper Road Car Park, in the centre of Dereham, are the reasons behind the partial closure of the site.
Earlier this year, resurfacing work at Cowper Road Car Park meant sections of the car park were closed to allow the works to be completed.
A spokesperson for Breckland Council commented: “This requires the closure of parts of the car park while these works are underway.
"It is anticipated that these works will last for four weeks, dependant on weather conditions, with an anticipated completion in mid-October.”
Part of the car park remains open, as well as access to local businesses being maintained throughout the works.
