Drivers in Dereham have been reporting severe delays after temporary traffic lights were installed in the town.
The multi-way lights can be found in Quebec Road, near The George Hotel at the top of Swaffham Hill, and will remain in place until December 29.
One person reported queueing for an hour to get across town.

The footpath will also stay closed during this time but a new walkway has been provided.
Norfolk County Council has said the disruption is necessary so that utility repair and maintenance works can be carried out.
