The Dereham and District Flower Club has announced its meeting schedule and line-ups through to March.
The group's Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place on January 25 at the Wensum Valley Hotel in Taverham.
Simon White from Peter Beales Rose Ltd delivered an account of their involvement in landmark events like the Chelsea Flower Show, Hampton Court and Gardeners World Live.
Corinne Steward, the club president, also took the opportunity to present 2023 Open Class and Novice competition awards.
Lavinia Pirret won the Open Class with Jan Lawler taking the runner up spot, and Sandra Carman came out top in the Novice category followed by Lisa Turner as runner up.
The club meetings for February and March are set to take place at Toftwood Village Hall in Dereham.
The meeting on February 22 will see a demonstration by Crystal Dyball on the subject 'Junk and Jumble'. The Open Class, Intermediate and Novice competitions are themed 'A Relic from the Attic' - no foam - and competition designs are to be submitted by 7.15pm.
March 28 offers a 'Hands On' evening for members to learn new floral techniques. The Open Class, Intermediate and Novice competitions will be themed 'Spring is in the Air and so is Easter'. The entries must be received by 7.15pm.
Doors will open to the monthly meet-ups at 6.45pm, ready for a 7.30pm start, and light refreshments will be available.
