A nursery has secured a hattrick of top of the class grades.
Little Owls Day Nursery, in Toftwood, has been awarded its third outstanding grade in as many Ofsted inspections, following its latest visit on January 16.
Justine Watts, director, said: “We are thrilled to have received another outstanding judgement. Having been judged to be outstanding once was an incredible achievement but to have now received our third outstanding judgement in a row, with inspections in 2014, 2018 and now 2024, is beyond our wildest dreams.
“We have now been running children’s nurseries for over 34 years in the local community, so this award is the accumulation of years of hard work.”
Tiffany Neath, manager at Little Owls, said: “We are still on a high following the inspection.

"We were graded outstanding in five areas; overall effectiveness, the quality of education, leadership and management, behaviour and attitudes and personal development.
"Congratulations to the whole staff team but there’s no resting on our laurels, the hard work starts again now.”
In its report, Ofsted praised the nursery in several different areas, including making it an environment for children to “flourish and thrive” and teaching children to be “respectful, empathetic, and considerate”.
It added teaching is exemplary across the whole staff, and the inspirational management team have a clear vision to continue to improve the quality.
Johnny Watts, who is also a director, added: “We are delighted that all of the hard work and dedication from the entire nursery team has been officially recognised again.
