A broken down bus was causing long delays on the A47 between Norwich and Dereham.
Police closed the area of the major road in Honingham.
Officers were on the scene as a recovery vehicle recovered the bus.
There were delays both ways with long queues eastbound as football fans saw delays heading to Carrow Road for Norwich versus Sunderland this afternoon.
Tailbacks built towards Hockering and the Easton roundabout in the other direction.
