A heritage railway's three-day Steam Gala with guest locomotives will feature free vintage bus rides.
The event, last held in 2019, will take place along the Mid-Norfolk Railway (MNR) between Dereham and Wymondham from Friday, June 28 to Sunday, June 30 2024.
Alongside its resident British Rail Standard 4MT 80078, the guest locos are Great Western Railways 2-6-2 Large Prairie 4144 and Southern Railways 4-6-2 "Battle of Britain" Class 34072, 257 Squadron.
Norfolk Vintage Bus Hire will provide a free shuttle service across the three days between Wymondham Mainline Station and Wymondham Abbey Halt.

On Sunday, there will be additional free trips between Dereham Station and County School Station, where the tea room will be open and the Wensum Valley Miniature Railway will be operating.

You can also travel in style to the Hardingham Fete, with traditional games, stalls and a flower and produce show, running between 1.30pm and 4pm on Sunday.
Available to buy on the day, return train tickets to Hardingham Station will cost £15 from Dereham or Wymondham or £8 from Thuxton, Kimberley or Yaxham.
