A crash blocked parts of the A47 causing long delays for drivers between Norwich and Dereham.
The two-car collision happened eastbound by the Wood Lane junction in Honingham this morning.
Emergency services were at the scene as delays built in both directions.
Drivers faced three miles of congestion from Hockering to the Mattishall roundabout.
National Highways warned drivers to allow for extra time with delays adding up to 20-minutes onto journeys.
