A Norfolk village pub is set to kick-start summer celebrations with a bumper weekend of live music and football fever.

Landlords at Darby's in Swanton Morley are planning an entertainment-packed extravaganza, beginning its season of festivities with the Euro final between England and Spain and a tribute to a music legend.

One of the co-owners, Kate Kennedy, said: "This weekend promises to be fantastic as we not only have our regular live music slot on Saturday evening, with Never2L8 playing at 7.30pm, but also because on Sunday we have the Desperado Eagles Tribute Band.

"They are visiting Norfolk this weekend so it's a gig not-to-be-missed and the music will be great.

'We'll have our pizza oven fired up, alongside our main menu, so there will be plenty of great food and drink on offer.”

The other co-owner, Colin Kennedy, said: "We have lots planned for this summer.

"Our regular Saturday night live music is a real hit and we have some fantastic bands booked through until October.
