A bid to install an energy-efficient advertisement display in a car park has led to a person fearing they will lose sleep if it is approved.
The applicant, Alight Media, has submitted plans to put an advertisement board up in a small car park at Gladwin House in South Green near Dereham.
According to the application's plans, the display - a single illuminated 48-sheet digital advert display - will be 6m wide and 3m high and would present a range of static images every 10 seconds.
However, a person living nearby to where the display would be installed has objected, saying it would have a "negative impact" on their daily lives.
The objector said: "This would have a direct impact on local residents and my family, particularly my young children, by disturbing our ability to rest peacefully at night due to the unwanted glare."

Another concern was that the digital board would be an obstruction to the family and other neighbouring properties and affect the ability to enjoy views of the natural surroundings.
They added: "I urge the planning committee to consider these objections seriously when reviewing this application.
"The proposed installation poses several concerns that would significantly affect the character, safety and well-being of the local community including my young family.
Alight Media said in its green infrastructure statement it supports using LED and LCD screens, which are believed to be more energy efficient.
It said: "Our products are carefully selected using criteria that sets out a ceiling of annual consumption. This target is set at less than 17,000 kWh per year per screen.

"All of our assets are operated using 100pc renewable energy."
The sign will also be operated remotely, which would eliminate the need for regular site visits and safety risks that come with putting up new signs up for new campaigns.
The display screen will also be switched off between midnight and 5am every day.
