A concert of opera arias and songs will raise funds for a church piano.

The event, featuring pieces from Mozart to Morricone, is on Sunday, October 20, at St Martin's Church, Hindringham, at 7.30pm.

More than 20 local singers will perform to support the new baby grand piano, which was donated to the church.

The concert aims to cover the piano's moving and other costs.

The instrument is expected to enhance future concerts and recitals, benefiting both the church and the community.

Selfmade Music, a Hindringham-based organisation run by residents Susannah Self and Michael Christie, has organised the piano and the concert.

They are known for their performances of large choral works in the church, which have helped fund the ongoing St Martin's Church Tower and Bells Restoration Fund.

Once the piano's installation costs are covered, it will also be used for future concerts in aid of the Restoration Fund.

Entry to the concert is free, with a retiring collection.
