Miles Rhodes Mortgages and Dereham Town Football Club have announced a deal that will see the local firm sponsor the Magpies’ first team for the 2023/24 campaign.
The Dereham-based company has struck an agreement with the football club that will see their logo on the front of the Magpies’ kit and kickstart a commercial relationship between the two local entities.
Both Miles Rhodes and Dereham Town FC are delighted with the move – believing it was a no-brainer given the natural alignment of their values.
Stuart MacKenzie, director of Miles Rhodes, said: ‘We wanted to do something to support the town and this sponsorship aligns with our core values.”
Dereham boss Tom Parke added: “Local businesses are key to community-orientated football clubs like ours – we are delighted to partner with Miles Rhodes Mortgages.
“They will play a major role in the development of our club this season and we are proud to have their values represented on the front of our shirts.
"For local football clubs, support from businesses is huge to our survival but also to enable us to build foundations to succeed in the short, mid and long term future.
“Our values align and this was a natural partnership for both parties. It’s great that two organisations rooted in Dereham and its community have come together in this way.
“We thank them for their support and look forward to working with them in what will be, hopefully, a positive season for us.”
