Bradenham Cricket Club Ladies had a successful day taking part in the third Norfolk Cricket Board Women’s Softball League Celebration Day for the third time.
The sun was shining at Sprowston Cricket Club as the team took on a strong Norwich side, who they had never previously played.
Bradenham lost by one run, a result which spurred the team on for their remaining performances.
The second game was against Sprowston, and after an amazing bowing and fielding performance, Bradenham came out on top.
They next played a young Denver side and won, proceeding to the final group game against Beccles - the team Bradenham lost to in a cup final last year.
A combination of fantastic bowling and fielding led to a win and secured entry into the final against Snettisham, which Bradenham also won, securing a much-deserved and hard-earned victory in the tournament.
